Chris has more than 20 years in the qualified pension plan market, working and partnering with business owners, board members, investment committees and human resources professionals. Having studied Applied Geography and statistics at Ryerson Polytechnical University, he started his career in institutional research and soon moved to John Hancock’s Pension Division in 1995. There he spent 13 years specializing in ERISA/fiduciary concerns, investment analysis, 401(k) product development, sales/implementation, and the education of both employers and employees. Chris transitioned to the consulting/advisory side of the business in 2012.
Chris has a mission to provide organizational, operational, and cost efficiency to his employer clients while helping educate and empower employees to become retirement ready. He has held the following NSAD licenses: Series 6, 7, 63, and maintains his Series 65. He is a member of the Portland Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference.
